To fix internet connectivity at home if you have Centurylink we need to add a network location and set a static IP

First Open up system preferences and go to "Network"

From there click on location and click edit locations then the plus button to add a new location name it "Home"

click done and then apply you should now be on the "Home" location from there click "Advanced" and then the "TCP/IP" Tab

Change "Configure IPv4" to manually and enter the following into the fields

Click Ok and apply you are set, when you get home change your location to home when anywhere else change your location to Automatic.
