This article applies to Westside High School only.
For students and staff, printers and copiers are made available throughout the building for your printing convenience.
First, please verify you have the correct printers installed by checking System Preferences > Printers & Scanners and confirming FollowMe-BW and/or FollowMe-Color are added to your printer list. Students do not have access to color printers.
Next, with the document or page open, select File, Print, or use the keyboard shortcut Command + P to access the print dialog box. This will bring up a dialog box where you select FollowMe-BW or FollowMe-Color.
Printers are secured by badge access (staff only)* or ID number (students and staff). In order to release a print job from the printer, please enter your ID number or scan your badge. Then, select the print job and press Print.
*If this is your first time authenticating via a badge, you will need to log-in with your Westside username and password one time to set up this process.

Printing by Email
In some circumstances, you may need to submit a print job by email. This will apply to visitors, guests, and other personnel in the building, such as student teachers, guest teachers, etc. To use this feature, you must have a registered Westside email and password or seek assistance from a staff member to print.
To print via email:
First, please log in to your Westside email account and compose a new email to email@example.com – you will need to attach a PDF of the document you want to print (for assistance on converting a file to PDF format, please visit this link).
Next, once the file has been attached, please click on "send" to submit the print job. Shortly, you will receive a confirmation email asking you to verify the print job – you MUST click on the link in this email in order to print the document(s).
After confirming the print job, you may release the job at any printer in common areas of the building, such as an IMC or the Main Office. For assistance on releasing a print job, please see the section discussed earlier in this article.
